This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personal information when you use our Services, create an account, build your profile, participate in challenges, interact with content or referrals, contact us, or otherwise engage with BechaCant.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected through:

  • our website and progressive web application,

  • our mobile app wrappers,

  • account registration and login flows,

  • profile setup and account management,

  • challenges, points, referrals, leaderboards, and content-related interactions,

  • support and communications,

  • cookies, consent tools, analytics, and attribution technologies used on our Services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services that we do not own or control, even if they are linked from or integrated with our Services.

F. Payment Information

At this time, we do not offer direct in-app purchases or payment processing through the Services. If this changes in the future, we may update this Privacy Policy to describe the payment-related personal information involved and the payment providers used.

C. To Measure Attribution and Marketing Performance

  • measure campaign and referral performance,

  • evaluate acquisition and re-engagement effectiveness,

  • support marketing analytics and attribution.

D. To Maintain Security and Integrity

  • maintain authentication and session integrity,

  • detect and prevent abuse, fraud, misuse, and security incidents,

We do not currently use your personal information for SMS marketing. We do not currently offer direct in-app purchases.

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember user preferences, maintain security and sessions, and support analytics and attribution.

  • Attribution / marketing technologies to measure traffic sources, referrals, and campaign effectiveness.

We use a third-party consent management solution to help manage user choices regarding certain cookies and tracking technologies. Depending on the consent experience presented to you and applicable law, you may be able to opt out of certain categories of cookies or tracking technologies, including where applicable through a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" preference. You may also be able to update your privacy preferences later using the tools or settings we make available.

We may use technologies and service providers such as:

  • Google Tag Manager,

  • Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics,

  • AppsFlyer,

  • authentication/session cookies and similar technologies,

  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related infrastructure/services,

  • communications and email delivery providers used to support the Services.

We do not currently use Facebook Pixel.

D. Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to manage cookies through browser settings. Disabling certain cookies or technologies may affect the functionality of the Services.

BechaCant is a U.S.-focused product but may be accessible globally. Personal information may therefore be processed in countries other than the country where you reside. Where required by applicable law, we take steps designed to provide appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:

  • provide and operate the Services,

  • maintain accounts and records,

  • support analytics and attribution,

  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations,

  • resolve disputes,

  • enforce agreements,

  • detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and purpose of processing. When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it, unless retention is required or permitted by law.

  • request correction of inaccurate personal information,

  • request deletion of personal information,

  • object to or restrict certain processing,

12. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account through the functionality available in the Services. If you request or initiate account deletion:

  • your account may be deactivated or deleted,

  • some information may be retained where required or permitted by law,

  • some information may remain in backups for a limited period,

  • some information may be anonymized rather than deleted where appropriate.

13. Children's Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally valid authorization where required by law. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@bechacant.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

14. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Push Notifications

Our mobile app wrappers for iOS and Android may support native push notifications. If you enable push notifications, we may process information required to deliver those notifications and measure related engagement, such as whether a push notification was opened. You can manage push notification permissions through your device settings.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date above and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that the updated version will apply, to the extent permitted by law.
